It was during one of our escapes when we decided that it was a good opportunity to explore the dramatic mountain scenery of this region and its cliff-top castles. Being totally indecisive about how to handle our limited time we had to opt between Bran (Dracula's) castle and Peles castle. After a quick search and the recommendations of the local people we finally decided that Peles castle was the best option. Needless to say it was a decision we didn't regret as Peles castle is the most exciting and beautiful Transylvanian castle in Romania and one of the most beautiful castles in Europe!
