5 Places in Athens for Delicious Pinsa and Cocktails

Delicious pinsa, a different version of pizza

Get to know the restaurants in Athens that offer the best pinsa, the ancient version of our beloved pizza!

When it comes to pinsa we are always in! This ancient Roman creation has stolen our hearts and we can’t hide it. It is a fact that this unique and delicious style of pizza has its own distinct charm. But let’s take things from the beginning starting with the dough. It is the heart, and soul of pinsa. A carefully crafted mixture of wheat, rice, and soy flour gives this delicacy its characteristic lightness and crispiness and sets it apart from the thicker, doughier traditional pizza crust. We are talking about an alternative experience of taste that combines tradition, innovation, and a whole lot of love.

When paired with cocktails, pinsa becomes more than just a meal; it transforms into a culinary journey! The key to this magnificent combination lies in the balance between the pinsa's flavors and the carefully crafted cocktails. Pinsa's doughy base can complement a wide range of cocktails, from refreshing and citrusy to bold and complex. It's a versatile partner, ready to adapt to whatever cocktail you choose to enjoy with it.

So, if you are on holiday in Athens or you are living here but you are always up for good food, you should read our list below and discover more about the 5 perfect places where you can enjoy the best pinsa alongside the freshest cocktails in town!
